Kelly Services’ Healthcare Division Celebrates National Nurses Week
Kelly Healthcare Resources Honors Florida Healthcare Professional as National Nurse of the Year
TAMPA, FL (May 6, 2009) – To recognize the significant contribution, hard work, and dedication of our nation’s nearly 2.9 million registered nurses, Kelly Healthcare Resources is honoring Susan Heacock, RN as its Nurse of the Year in conjunction with National Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2009. Ms. Heacock was selected from more than 3,000 Kelly nurses as this year’s national winner.
A relocation to the Tampa area in 2007 resulted in Ms. Heacock joining Kelly Healthcare Resources as an occupational health nurse on assignment with Ford Motor Credit Company. She has more than 12 years of nursing experience, including working in research, pediatrics and occupational health. Prior to joining Kelly, she was an occupational health nurse for a variety of large companies. Recently earning an MBA, Ms. Heacock is a professor with Southwest Florida College and author of the book, Inspiring the Inspirational: Words of Hope from Nurses to Nurses.
“With my relocation to Florida, I researched many job opportunities and chose to work for Kelly Healthcare Resources because of their reputation, professional staff, and the opportunity to be placed in my specialty area of occupational health,” said Sue Heacock. “My assignment at Ford Motor Credit allows me to work in an environment where the managers and staff make me feel like part of the team. It is inspiring to be recognized for my hard work and accomplishments.”

The National Nurse of the Year award was developed to recognize Kelly nurses for their outstanding work in the healthcare industry. The award, which will be presented to Ms. Heacockin conjunction with National Nurses Week, is based on performance feedback from customers of Kelly Healthcare Resources.
