Kelly Healthcare Resources Celebrates National Nurses Week
California Healthcare Professional Honored as National Nurse of the Year
LOS ANGELES (May 6, 2010) – To recognize the significant contribution, hard work, and dedication of our nation’s nearly three million registered nurses, Kelly Healthcare Resources (KHR), a specialty service of Kelly Services, is honoring Divina Apolinario, RN as its Nurse of the Year in conjunction with National Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2010. Ms. Apolinario was selected from more than 3,000 Kelly nurses as this year’s national winner for her outstanding initiative, advocacy, team support, empathy, flexibility, and application of nursing theory.
Joining Kelly Healthcare Resources in 2008, Ms. Apolinario is a clinical nurse consultant on assignment with a medical device company. She has 16 years experience in various nursing roles, as well as medical product sales, customer service, and nursing and clinical staff training and education. Prior to Kelly, she was an account manager for a global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company.
In addition to her professional nursing career, Ms. Apolinario volunteers at the Los Angeles Union Rescue Mission and travels to Asia and Africa for charity work. Through her missionary trips, she has provided immunizations to children and assisted with the beautification of a hospital in a remote village.

The National Nurse of the Year award was developed to recognize Kelly nurses for their outstanding work in the healthcare industry. The award, which will be presented to Ms. Apolinario in conjunction with National Nurses Week, is based on performance feedback from customers of Kelly Healthcare Resources.
